Christina Haack was born in Anaheim California in the 9th July 1983. Her first job post-school was working as a real estate agent. That's how she met her future husband Tarek El Moussa. Following the 2008 collapse of the stock market the real estate market was hit hard by investors and house flippers lost their money. Due to the financial crisis, Tarek and Christina El Moussa were close to losing the entirety of their wealth. They went from a home that cost $6,000 per month, to a $700/month apartment. Their business, and the economy at large, slowly rebounded. HGTV as well as Rise to Fame Tarek enlisted an acquaintance to create an audition tape to HGTV featuring Christina reflipping properties from scratch. The tape ended up in the management of an executive at an production firm called Pie Town Productions. The execs were infatuated with Christina's story of love between Tarek and Christina. The couple signed an agreement with HGTV. Then, in April of 2013, "Flip of Flop" began its debut. Between 2013 and 2017, the show was broadcast in 92 episodes. In the show, Christina and Tarek would purchase properties, usually mid-income homes located in Orange County, and would then proceed to spend several weeks making upgrades so they could flip the property to make an income. Tarek concentrates on construction and renovations, and Christina is in charge of designing. She also ensures that the project is completed on time.
