Robyn Rihanna fenty, also called Rihanna by Barbadians, is an artist and singer. Her most popular songs include Pon de Replay, SOS Umbrella, and Take a Bow. She's a hugely popular artist, who has sold over 41 million albums across the globe as well as more than 150 million tracks. Born in Barbados she grew up listening to reggae music, and began singing when she was quite young. When she was disturbed by the chaotic nature of her home life, as well as her frequent battles with her father she began to get involved with music. Before long she discovered she was meant to make it as a professional. When she was in high-school she formed group and performed at the auditions for Evan Rodgers. Evan Rodgers was impressed at her abilities. The girl moved to New York to start a career in singing full time. The album she released her debut album soon launched and Rihanna was a cult artist before long. Young people were captivated by her catchy songs that made them tap their feet. This led Rihanna into the movie industry. She is a young, skilled woman that has grown into a style icon and a teen icon. Rihanna uses her fame to great use through being involved in several charities.
